Localize Technologies is looking for motivated Japanese Translators who can provide technical translations for the software industry. Must be detail oriented and organized. Localization testing experience and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Experience with international coding standards such as Unicode, Shift-JIS, etc.
Translators will translate highly technical documents, coordinate multiple projects with a special focus on localization projects to and from Japan, coordinate with clients and other translators, format, typeset, edit and proofread before delivery, and deliver completed projects in a timely manner.
Should be experienced with Trados, and some or all of the following: Catalyst,Visual Studio .Net,FrameMaker, Quark,MS Office Applications,HTML, XML,Macintosh System 10.x
This full-time position is based in our Redwood City, CA USA office.
Senior Translator / Editor
BS or BA degree required. MS in Translation preferred.
