Account Executive — Software and Internet Localization Industry

This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial, ambitious individual who wants to join a growth-focused company. The successful candidate will help us continue to build a thriving business in localization and internationalization services. In this position, your primary responsibility will be lead generation based on phone prospecting to Marketing and Localization managers in software and Internet firms. You will sell the full range of Localize Technologies' offerings, focusing primarily on:

  • Localization and translation projects
  • Internationalization consulting
  • Global Content Management consulting engagements

You will work closely with various members of our localization services team to close and grow new accounts. With demonstrated success based on experience, increased knowledge of the localization industry and training from working with our senior staff, you will assume increasing sales responsibility and independence.

Work Environment

This position will be based in our Redwood City, CA office.

Compensation

  • Base salary (DOE)
  • Monthly Commission

Responsibilities

  • Consistently meet monthly new revenue targets in the sale of localization and globalization solutions to technology companies.
  • Identify and qualify new revenue opportunities, nationwide, through research creating initial contact via telephone or email.
  • Participation in and coordination of various sales and marketing events such as trade shows and conferences.
  • Participation in internal and client sales meetings. Create proposals and RFP's to present to customers, both on the phone, and at customer site vists.
  • Self-study on sales techniques and processes and localization industry information to develop strong sales skills and industry information.

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years sales-related experience - proven track record
  • Ambition, drive, determination and self-discipline.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Dedication to professional development and success.
  • Ability to understand and communicate abstract concepts.
  • Experience and contacts in the software industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of and experience in the localization industry is a big plus.

Education

BS or BA degree required.
